The Gervais City Council meets on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00pm. These meetings are open to the public. Anyone who is interested in getting involved or learning more about City business is encouraged and welcome to attend. The meetings are held at City Hall, 592 4th Street.

Three council positions as well as position of the mayor are up for election.  All positions are unpaid and terms begin January 1, 2021.  The council positions are four year terms, and the mayor’s position is a two year term.

Prospective candidates seeking to run for mayor or city council for the City of Gervais may file from now through August 25, 2020.  Election filing packets are available at Gervais City Hall located at 592 4th Street in Gervais and online at www.gervaisoregon.org.
